EASTER READING PLAN | PREPARING FOR SUNDAY MORNING

Join me on a journey to prepare for Sunday morning! But not just any Sunday morning…the Sunday morning that changed our lives forever!

The story of Jesus shedding his blood for me is my absolute favorite stories in the Bible.  I think it’s because I have a hard time imagining I would be that precious and worth it to him…but I am.  And so are you!

When I created this reading plan, I had imagined it being just 7-8 days.  After digging in and realizing all I wanted to include, it ended up needing to be 15 days!

I compiled a list of scriptures to tell the story, and divided them up into days and titles that made sense to me.  There is some extra commentary from my Chronological Study Bible to give you some extra understanding where you see an asterisk.

I will be posting on social media each day in preparation for Easter Sunday.  If 15 days is too much for you, I suggest starting on Palm Sunday, which is Day 8 in the devotional.  No matter what year it is, Palm Sunday is still Day 8 in the reading plan.

I pray the story of Jesus blesses you like it has blessed me.
