NEW YEARS EVE
Another year my babies wake up to this on New Years Eve!
In 2014, my husband told me he wanted a tradition that our family does on NYE so that our kids grow up knowing the fun is at home with family instead of associating it with drinking alcohol.
So that year I started this and continued on creating traditions with every other holiday for the same reason…have family traditions so our kids grow up enjoying their family and their family time!
If your babies are still asleep you have plenty of time to whip something like this up! Make it simple stuff and schedule your balloons to be popped when it’s convenient for your family. The lunch sacks with the time written on it is everything needed for that task. When they pop the balloon there’s a paper inside telling them what we’re doing. Then they open the sack with the matching time. Make this as easy as it needs to be. Focus on the memories you are creating! xoxo

Breakfast, bingo, board games, make pizzas, play card games, have a Wii tournament, watch a movie etc. The fun for them is popping the balloon and seeing what’s inside. I PROMISE you they’ll love it no matter what the paper inside the balloon says. Even if you don’t have time to do as many balloons as I have, do as many as your family can. Can only squeeze in 3? Do it! Your babes will look forward to it all day!
