FALL VIBES AND WELLNESS
Within a couple weeks of back to school, we experience our first lowering of morning and night temperatures, and even though the heat lingers in the afternoons still, I know what is around the corner.
I have a slight obsession with the fall season because the summer heat is finally over and it’s time to get out our favorite sweatshirts, coffee mugs, tons of blankets and enjoy some cozied up family time, also known as the BEST time.
Each season brings me so much excitment but this season, fall season…ahh I seriously love it. My soul feels refreshed and rejuvenated this time of year and always has.
Fall has a certain feeling to me…kinda like a Friday. The changing of home decor and color schemes all the way down to the towels I hang from my stove and the fall pillows on my porch. It rejuvenates me and is why I love living where we experience all four season. I would be bored living somewhere the temperature was constant. I need to experience the differences God gave us with the seasons! Fall is here y’all!
FALL COZY
I can’t wait to try this dress. I am fairly certain I will be too tall for it, but I’m gonna give it a go anyways!
I have this big metal basket that holds all our cozy blankets. I will be adding this one to our collection!
I am so excited to get a new fall sweatshirt and out of all the ones I checked out, this is the one that kept callin my name.
I am long overdue for a pair of slippers for sure. I seen these on IG last year and I’m hoping they don’t run out before I can grab a pair!
I’m such a simple person when it comes to clothing. This simple V Neck is exactly my kind of fall cozy!
Fall decor is calling my name! This wreath will be a great addition to your front door.
FALL SCENTS
I absolutely love fall scents and smells in my home! I love when my home smells and looks like whatever season I am in, so right now give me all the apple cider, pumpkin spice and crunchy fall leaves scents!
When I started learning how toxic candles and other air plug-in things were, I trashed them. They are filled with artificial fragrance and toxins that we all get to breathe in…no thank you.
We don’t use candles anymore and I honestly don’t miss them. I used to think that I had to have a candle going all the time for a nice cozy feel but once I started to learn all about ingredients, I got super turned off.
You can still have that cozy autumn feel and smell without the toxins friends! Have fun playing with these safe, immune supporting diffuser blends and if you don’t have oils yet, let’s change that! Message me to get started!

FALL EATS
I am super excited to try this pumpkin cheesecake recipe from the blog of Joanna Gaines!
Fall mornings call for breakfast in our jammies with football on TV. Overnight French Toast will work perfect for a crisp fall morning!
We stopped making pumpkin pie years ago and only make this Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake. Once you make it, you will understand why! (We still will eat pumpkin pie, but this is our family favorite hands down!)
I will always love my coffee, but serving my family some good ol’ apple cider in the fall is always on the menu. My absolute favorite spice for this recipe is here. Add one of these boxes to a gallon of regular apple cider and dissolve on the stove. So yummy!
Instead of popcorn balls, our family whips up this popcorn recipe and changes the coloring to be fall colors or simply leave the coloring out. DELISH! Perfect for a cozy movie night in.
Soups soups soups. A Wiginton family favorite is this super-easy Chicken and Noodles crock pot recipe. I serve this on top of some homemade mashed potatoes with a veggie and biscuits.
I know everyone drinks pumpkin spiced everything, but my husband and I love homemade white chocolate mochas and this recipe is so yummy!

FALL FUN
I am someone that needs to have family activities that are season-themed to match the movies, food, and decor. What activities can you include this fall? What are your favorite fall activities? If you want to incorperate some fall activites, here are some ideas!
Make your own family fall bucket list.
Visit a Pumpkin Patch. (Send me your favorites!)
Make apple cider.
Make smores.
Make popcorn and watch Hocus Pocus.
Make a fall platter/board. (I’m getting this because Adam loves boards!)
Go to a football game.
Bake your favorite cookies.
Jump in a pile of leaves.
Have a bonfire.
Carve pumpkins.
Take a family picture.
Bake pumpkin bread. (I’m trying this one!)
Visit your local fall fest.
Wear some big fluffy socks. (I need some. What’s your favorites?!)
Find the best flannel shirt. (I need my flannels I wore back in the 90’s)
Make a fall craft with the kids and hang for decoration. (I picked this one!)
Walk through your local park to collect fall leaves.
Make pumpkin pretzels. (Here’s how we make ours.)
Have a movie night with hot chocolate.
We’ve always been frugal with our spending and since yearly vacations aren’t something we can offer our family yet, I started to really focus on activities we could do in our home with little spending. It has turned into something we all love and look forward to. Even the older kids!
