MERMAID HAIR SPRAY + DETANGLER DIY

100% made with all-natural.
100% made with Mama’s love.

These two diy’s are so dang easy and they are in my everyday hair routine. Switch out the store-bought detangler that is loaded with chemical junk and try this one out! The mermaid hair spray is great at promoting healthy hair so everyone needs this.

MERMAID HAIR SPRAY

Add all ingredients to spray bottle then fill the rest of the way with filtered water. I spray this on my roots when I get out of the shower and rub it in. Rubbing it in isn’t necessary but it feels good 🙂 I also use this on my daughter! It’s safe for adults and kids.

DETANGLER

  • 1 tsp Young Living conditioner of choice (my absolute favorite is the Copaiba Vanilla!)
  • 15 drops your choice of essential oils
  • 4 oz spray bottle

Add all ingredients to spray bottle and fill the rest of the way with filtered water. Shake well. Spray all over on wet hair to use as a detangler, OR spritz over dry hair to help with frizzy hair. Don’t overload the spray or it will feel greasy, just use a little. Here are my favorite recipes:

Mermaid // Lavender + Cedarwood + Rosemary
Before School // GeneYus + Lavender + Citrus Fresh
Summer Vibes // Orange + Stress Away
Good Morning // Peppermint + Lemon + Rosemary
Hippy // Frankincense + Patchouli + Cedarwood + Bergamot
For the Guys // Shutran + Cedarwood + Idaho Blue Spruce
Vanilla Lime // Stress Away + Lime
Tree Hugger // Sacred Mountain + Northern Lights Black Spruce + Lime

The “For the Guys” blend can be added to your man’s beard to freshen up anytime as well! Be sure to mix the strength of each oils depending on your preference. I would normally do 5 drops of each, but if an oil is too over-powering for your preference, just edit it. If it’s not strong enough add more. That’s the wonderful thing about essential oils, you can make it your own! Enjoy!

Which one have you made and what is your favorite?
