ESSENTIAL OIL INFUSED PLAY DOH

Alone time with Sis today while the boys are all gone and we decided to make a batch of play-doh!

We picked some of our favorite essential oils for our emotions and used food coloring to match the color of the oil bottle!

Lavender: calming

Lemon: mood booster

Frankincense: grounding for our mind

White Angelica: for negative vibes

The aromatic benefits of these oils while playing with the play-doh is amazing for our babes! And for us Mama’s too✌🏼

Not only is this project super easy (I bet you have most, if not all, ingredients in your cabinet) it’s also a very fast project!

• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 cup salt
• 1 1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar
• 1 1/2 TBS oil (I used olive oil because that’s what was closest to me to grab)
• 1 1/2 cold water
• Food coloring
• Essential oils

1. Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar, oil, and water in a medium sauce pan over low heat.
2. Stir over medium heat for about five minutes, until play-doh is not sticky anymore.
3. Let cool and split into four equal parts. Knead in essential oil’s and food coloring until it is distributed evenly throughout each ball of play-doh.
4. Let your kids enjoy this natural play-doh and when done playing, store in airtight container.
