Candied Pecans

After giving these candied pecans last week for a few gifts, it was obvious I needed to share with you all! These are SO GOOD. I get the big bag of pecans at Sam’s which doesn’t cost much. I was able to make 2 batches with one bag👌🏼

If you like visuals, watch me make it here!

CANDIED PECANS

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 TBS ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cups unsalted pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp water

Preheat oven to 300º.  Put parchment paper on baking sheet.

In a medium bowl, add sugars, cinnamon, and salt.  Whisk until combined.  Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk the egg white, vanilla, and water together until frothy.  Add the pecans and gently toss until pecans we are well coated.  Add the sugar and cinnamon mixture until pecans are covered.

Spread the pecans out in a single layer on baking sheet.  Bake for about 10-15 mins then stir.  Bake for another 10-15 mins and stir once more.  Let pecans cool on baking sheet.  When completely cool, store in an airtight container for up to a month.

🎁You can also add to a cute container for a Christmas gift!
